Description

Tapping adapters are quick-change fittings that connect to a compatible tooling chuck to speed tool changes. The chuck can remain in place on a machine while the current adapter is changed out for another adapter to allow the chuck to hold different sizes of taps. Each adapter has a finished bore that holds a tap of a specific size and shank diameter. These adapters are used with CNC milling or drilling machines to create threads in holes.
